1st Annual Lowcountry Tractor & Farm Implement Show
Yonges Island, SC
April 21, 2001
You just never know if an April Saturday in S.C. will be 58 or 88 degrees, but lucky for this first-time event, the weather cooperated, with a beautiful spring day in the upper 70's. A good crowd turned out to view antique tractors, engines, cars, racecars, and to sample the delicious barbecue and other concessions offered up by the St. Paul's Parish Exchange Club. Hayrides for the kids, a tractor parade, and a slow tractor race were all part of the afternoon's fun. Ron Barton's John Deere 630 is one S L O W machine! We dusted off the Super MTA Diesel, model 300, Cub and Cub Cadet for the trip down. Thanks to Ron and the other event organizers for their work in pulling this together.
